Understanding the effects of custom extensions

Custom client extensions can require large amounts of memory or CPU time on the server, depending on their specific function. Although Meridian does not limit the number of extensions that can be deployed, you should consider performance and stability when programming or installing custom extensions. Not doing so might result in stability or performance issues on the server.

Tip    To detect performance or stability problems that may be caused by custom extensions, temporarily clear the extensions and retest.
